Studies on the constituents of the root of Polygonatum officinale Allioni

Abstract
|
|
|
By means of the two-dimensional thin-layer chromatography, amino acid conponents of the root of Polyganatum officinale Allioni have been examined and sixteen spots have been detected by the coloration with ninhydrin reagent.
These were found to be lysine, histidine, arginine, aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glugamic acid, proline, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylalanine.
